Three generations of hoteliers!
A little history...
In 1954, Angelo Casali (Steve Casali's grandfather), a carpenter by trade, began building his hotel in Talloires. One year later, he opened with his wife Yvonne "Les Grillons", a 2 star hotel with 10 rooms and a 60 place restaurant. Each year, he enlarged a little more, added beams, made new furniture for the rooms, planted more trees...
The hotel, which became 3-star in 1995, has evolved over the years to provide ever greater comfort: additional and more spacious rooms, a new restaurant, a swimming pool and a jacuzzi.
In 2007, Aurélie, their granddaughter, and her husband Sébastien, the chef, took over the hotel for 15 years and remodelled and developed the establishment, perpetuating the tradition of a warm and family welcome.
Until today in 2023, Aurélie's brother, Angèlo Casali's grandson, Steve chef de cuisine, with his partner Laurie in reception, take over the hotel to continue to develop this establishment with a new breath of family and traditional value.
